From the app
- Open Remocat and tap your profile picture, at the top right of the home screen.
- Choose “More options”, then “Delete account”.
- Confirm. The deletion is immediate: there is no waiting period and no request to review.
What gets deleted
- Your record on our servers: your email address, your Google account identifier and the sessions of the devices linked to it. Nothing of yours is left on our side.
- Deleting the account also removes your email from our mailing list, so you stop receiving any communication from us.
What stays yours to remove
Two things do not belong to us and are therefore not touched by the deletion. The intruder photos live in your own Google Drive, in the “Remocat Intruders” folder: we cannot reach them, so delete that folder yourself if you want them gone. Everything the app keeps on the phone — the registered face, the local copy of the reports and your preferences — is removed when you uninstall Remocat.
If you cannot use the app
If you have already uninstalled Remocat or cannot sign in, write to crescenziaziendale@gmail.com from your registered address, with the subject “Delete Remocat Account”. We reply within 30 days, as the GDPR requires.
